This warranty applies to the original owner, and is transferable to subsequent owners, but always relates back to the original purchase date. We track the original purchase date by serial number, which is both in your manual and on a sticker located on the inside of the downtube behind the battery.
This limited warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear, malfunctions or failures due to abuse, neglect, improper repair, improper maintenance, alteration, modification, accidents, or other improper use.
To be eligible for a warranty claim, the following service schedule is required. This must be documented so save your receipts:
Drip e-Bikes warrants the structural integrity of the frame or frameset to the original retail purchaser for a period of three (3) years from the date of original retail purchase. Paint and graphics are not included in this definition. Frameset means an Drip e-Bikes branded frame. Suspension forks and suspension parts are not included in the definition of frame or frameset. Forks and suspension parts are covered by their brand warranty.
Bafang’s standard motor warranty is 1 year, but Drip e-Bikes doubles their warranty to 2 years, 10,000 miles, whichever comes first. The display is covered under the same warranty schedule. Our batteries, if maintained properly should last for years, but battery performance does degrade over time. Drip e-Bikes batteries include full replacement during the first (1) year / 5,000 miles and a pro-rated replacement of 50% of the cost during year two (2) / 5,000-10,000 miles of use.
Drip e-Bikes uses only the best branded components in the industry to build our bikes. Warranty on these components varies by brand and is covered by their warranty terms. Drip e-Bikes does not provide an explicit warranty on these products, but will facilitate the warranty process on your behalf, subject to the terms of the applicable brand. If you have a problem with any of your components, we encourage you to fill out a warranty request with us first. These components include, but are not limited to:
Wear and tear refers to damage that naturally and inevitably occurs as a result of normal riding. For example, your cassette and chain will, even if properly maintained, eventually wear out requiring replacement. The same applies to scratches and other potential damage to the paint or graphics of your bicycle that can result from normal use and exposure to the elements. Your bicycle may over time also develop minor creaks or other noises while riding which usually means it requires maintenance. Wear and tear items are not covered by this Warranty. The following is a non-exhaustive list of other typical wear and tear items not covered by this Warranty:

The above warranty, or any implied warranty, does not cover normal wear and tear. All warranties are void if the electric vehicle is used for other than normal activities, or outside of recommended parameters including but not limited to exceeding the maximum recommended rider weight indicated on the bike page specification, failing to follow the owner’s manual or using the electric vehicle in competitive events, and training for such activities or events. Drip e-Bikes used for commercial activities will be covered under warranty for a period of 1 year/5,000 miles and do not include the warranties above.
Drip e-Bikes makes no other warranties, express or implied. All implied warranties, including the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to that of the express warranties stated above.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
